Mortgage Consultant, Istanbul
The responsibilities of the position include:
• Provide professional and knowledgeable advice to Turkish residents, Turkish nationals living abroad and foreigners both in Turkey and abroad on choosing the optimal mortgage loan in Turkey. Consultancy to be delivered in person and over the phone.
• Assist qualified clients through the entire mortgage cycle of product comparison and decision, loan application, document gathering and loan closing.
• Develop, in collaboration with FinZoom senior staff, innovative and cost-effective means of mortgage lead generation through all available channels, including but not limited to www.finzoom.com.tr.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with real estate agencies, brokerages and development companies selling and brokering property in Turkey.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other mortgage providers.
• Remain informed on mortgage product details, banks’ mortgage lending criteria, mortgage industry legislation and other relevant trends and market developments.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
• Exceptional sales, communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial concepts related to consumer finance and mortgage.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in financial sector preferred, ideally in sales or credit department.
• Unique ability to make complex financial products simple for clients with limited or no financial knowledge in order to help them make a confident, correct decision.
• Entrepreneurial drive and desire to build a new business.
• Time-management skills, organization skills and openness in working with a team.
• Strong command of English.

Senior Research Analyst
The Senior Research Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
Managing the collection of up-to-date, detailed information on financial products on the Turkish market from all offering banks. Current products include consumer loans/credits, home loans, mortgages, credit cards and auto loans. The data gathering will take place through researching banks’ websites and phone calls to banks’ sales and marketing departments.
Analysis of the Turkish retail banking sector, trends and product development.
Periodically writing articles and advice regarding Consumer Finance topics.
Translation of general banking and financial terms, product offers and the general financial services website into Turkish and English.
Overall responsibility for the quality of all data and written content on www.FinZoom.com.tr.
The successful candidate will possess:
Motivation for professional growth in the area of Consumer Finance.
Knowledge of basic financial concepts such as internal rate of return (IRR) and net present value (NPV).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Native Turkish and fluent English.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Advanced Internet and MS Excel skills.
Additional:
The Senior Research Analyst will oversee a team of junior analysts and work closely with the Executive Director in Istanbul. He/she will also communicate regularly with international staff in the company’s headquarters in Sofia, Bulgaria. Occasional international travel will be required.
